Welcome to the Weird and Wonderful section of Focus-F1.com. In this area we will focus on all the strange things that have happened in the lifetime of Formula One that had made it the wonderful spectacle that it is today. | ||

In order to qualify for this section, the car, team, event or mistake must have been something unusual. Something you don't see very often in F1. So for example, if a driver starts from the wrong slot on the grid, or crashes in the pit lane, then they are legible for entry in this section. Similarly if a race were to finish behind the safety car or featured something unusual, such as a pit lane fire, then it too is legible for entry on this section. If a team was formed out of the blue, or produces an unusual looking car then they too are welcome in this section. |

Giancarlo Fisichella embarrassed himself again on the grid, at the 2003 Malaysian Grand Prix. Caught out by Jacques Villeneuve's missing BAR, Fisichella reverses on the grid, and then stalls! Read all about it here. |
