My name is Richard Randle, and I am currently hoping to become a motorsports photographer. I hope to use this website as a showcase of my talents to prospective employers, and general fans alike.

I have been following motorsport all my life and have had ambitions to work in the industry for as long as I can remember.

My interest in photography began in 2006 when I purchased my first decent digital camera, a Fujifilm S5600-a model I still use today.

I began using the camera at the 2006 British Formula One Grand Prix, and noticed that I may have potential as a photographer.

As I began to understand the camera more, my images improved, and are now probably about as good as I can get from it.

I have invested in memory cards and have continued to learn at every event I've been to-some of my favourite photos have only been taken in the past few weeks.

I am a graduate of Stafforshire Univerity, and hold a 2:1 degree in Sports Journalism.  My knowledge of Formula One is exemplary, and my general motorsport knowledge is improving.

Spurred on by gaining an image published in a recent Autosport magazine, I now intend to begin a career in motorsport photography.

At present I use the following equipment:

-Canon EOS 30D Body
-Sigma 28-300mm f3.5-6.3 DG Macro Lens
-Memory Cards
-Tripod
-Batteries

In the future I intend to invest further in lenses and other general equipment.
